I decided to help the Guatemalan Rotary East Club with this incredible proyect offering easy to build wood saving stoves to help families suffering from respiratory problems as well as an efort to save trees. 

 

It became clear this experience was about much more than just stoves because of how drasticly their live changed. Quickly after they had their new stove they ate better, had no trouble breathing and saved money. Because they didnt have to keep the fire going the entire day, they had more time to spend with the kids and even help them with homework. 

 

For people who have never been without a stove, this is a small peek at how families live when the basic needs are impossible to met, and how quickly with a little effort and elbow greese lives change. 

The video needed to be done urgently to apply for some funding, so I only had 36 hours from camera set up to finish so its a bit rought around the edges. Thankfully the video worked and had raised more than 10,000 stoves for low income families, it also became a proyect promoted by Rotary International.
